Blackjack online, head to head
Tahúr’s multiplayer is a duel: two players, one shoe, and a draft so everyone starts even. It’s free, it runs in the browser, and a friend can sit down from a link without making an account.
Five ways to play people
- Casual
- A quick drafted duel against whoever’s waiting. No rating. If the queue is quiet, play Vic while you wait and keep your place in line.
- Ranked
- Climb the tiers: Hustler, Sharp, Shark, High Roller, Kingpin. You’re matched with players near your rating, and the wait widens the search.
- A friend’s table
- Host a table and send the link. Your friend sits straight down, even on their first visit. The host picks the rules: a draft, or everyone’s own kit. Friendly tables never change your rating.
- Tournaments
- One host, 4 to 128 players, single elimination. Made for streams and group chats: how tournaments work.
- Practice draft vs Vic
- The same draft against the house. Works offline, pays a little.
The draft
Your collection stays home. Each duel opens with two draft rounds: you and your rival each see two powerups of the same tier and keep one. Then 5 to 10 cards on each side get random marks, the same tiers on different cards. Skill decides it, not the size of your collection.
Your deck and theirs, in one shoe
Both decks are shuffled into a single shoe, like a real table. Your cards have blue backs and your rival’s red, so you always know whose card is on top before anyone draws it. Marks only help whoever made them.
Fair play
- Every move has a 30-second clock. Leaving mid-match counts as a loss.
- The server deals and checks every move; nobody can see a hidden card they aren’t meant to.
- No real money, ever. Your first online win each day comes with a Plain Box of powerups and marks.
- Rematch at the same table with a fresh draft, and the series score keeps count.
