The pitch

Twenty-one, head to head. One hidden card, one face up, closest without going over wins. Then the rules start bending. You're a tahúr, a card sharp, hustling up through Halcyon City's underground card circuit, the Underdeck. Each district's kingpin runs their tables by their own crooked rules. Beat them with powerups that peek, swap and move the target, cards you've marked for good, and the tells you've learned to read.

Features

Name

Tahúr is Spanish for a card sharp. The first written account of blackjack, Cervantes' Rinconete y Cortadillo (c. 1601), follows two young tahúres hustling twenty-one in Seville's underworld.
